Thursday - June 11th (Updated with Pictures)

It is hard to believe that this week has passed by so quickly. Today was our final day of ministry activities.

We started our day at Concepcion Primary School, where Juan Patt serves as the school administrator; he is also the Pastor at Prince of Peace Church, the same church where we had our social last night. After the puppet show, we presented the students with salvation bracelets. We also gave Bibles for those who will be graduating. They normally give Bibles to the graduating seniors; however, this year they had failed to order them and were not going to be able to receive any before graduation. God's timing is perfect!

We also delivered Bibles to Cornertsone High School this morning. Those will be used in their Bible classes.

In the afternoon we were able to play with the kids from Guadalupe School next door. We also helped them do some cleaning at the school and took them a gift, a crate filled with Bibles, school supplies and sports equipment. It is amazing to see how God has opened the doors for us to develop relationships with so many of their students.

We also had our final VBS with over 150 kids participating. Over 40 of those kids and some of their parents attended the closing ceremony on Thursday night. The closing service was very emotional, as we reflected on a week that had passed so quickly; a week filled with many long days in which we were able to serve in the name of Christ, while growing in our relationships with one another, with those we went to serve and, even more importantly, with our Father.

As we left the church on Thursday night, we left a loving congregation that eagerly awaits our next trip to Corozal!

  1. Wow another fruitful day. How encouraging to see God work through the body of Christ to provide Bibles to the schools in His timing. How faithful He is. Nice to see the VBS numbers grow day by day. Looks like someone received a very special Softball Bat (what is the “behind the scenes” story?).
