started the morning with breakfast at Consuelo and Ermilio's house.
All of the meals have been great and we are so grateful to them for
opening up their home to us and cooking food for such a big group.
After breakfast, we made our way to the church and began construction
projects: some cut grass with machetes, others painted the church, and
others practiced for the puppet show we are to perform at a local high
school on Wednesday morning. There were several scattered showers
throughout the day. Many were afraid that we would not get to play
with the kids at the school due to the rain, but they still ran out
when their break time came around. After lunch we took a little siesta
and then headed to the church for VBS. Mrs. Richardson helped the kids
act out the story of Jonah and they really enjoyed it. We had 115 kids
attend VBS today! Please pray that more people keep coming for the
rest of the week. We closed out the day with a wonderful church
service led by our team. Pastor Goodsell preached on why most people
do not share their faith and then reminded us how important and what a
blessing it is to share Christ with others. Please pray that our team
will finish the week strong and that the Belizean people will be open
to the Gospel and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Thanks for sharing activities and photos. I see that the Evangel Security team is on the ready. Praying for your strength and good rest; the last photo does indicate the need for a well deserve siesta. It is all good. Thanks for your faithful service in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
